Kindergarten teacher's presents!

Tomorrow is my son's last day at kindergarten and last year at this particular one where he has been going for 3 years!!!! Next year he will be joining the system!!! :-) meaning he will be entering the mandatory state kindergarten... not so sure how I feel about that... but more importantly not so sure how he will feel about it... as he is leaving all his friends (not one of them is going to the same place next year) but I'm sure we will both survive! :-)

I wanted to give something special to these 6 wonderful women who have been looking after my son during the year and some of them have been with him for the whole 3 years.... The care he received there is way above and beyond what is called for in their job description... so I wanted to make them something each... and here is what I've been making for the them in the last few days.... the hardest part was deciding which one gets what... I hope I made wise choices and I hope they'll like my little tokens of affection and gratitude! :-)

  7. Triz - Those are so gorgeous! It's wonderful of you to recognize the teachers for the care they gave your son during the past three years. Good teachers are so important to a child - I still remember two or three teachers who made a big impression on me (and I'm OLD!). :-)

  14. Such wonderful gifts Triz for your son's teachers...I know they will be thrilled...I would love anyone of them!!!

Good teachers are so important in a child's life...I still remember two teachers a male teacher(grade 6) and a female teacher who taught me in grade 7, she is long since retired but I still see her occasionally out shopping...we still talk to this day...

    Cheers
