What a mess!!!

what a mess

I finished my new Sherry Serafini inspired cuff that I spoke about a couple of posts ago... but you will have to come back tomorrow to check it out, as I'm too tired to post and write about it now... but here is what my, believe it or not, dining table looked like just before I finished it... I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry... I know I'll cry tomorrow, because I really, really need to clear it all up and put all the beads back to where they belong, or I will not be able to find them when I start my next piece... and come on... let's face it... can hardly find the table! :-)  for now it's bed time! :-) goodnight! :-)

  1. THAT is a great shot..a true artist @ work that only YOU could have hatched...I'm sure that you'll figure out how to unscramble everything once you are less tired...:)

  3. I can relate! My dining table has somehow turned into a home office that I share with my husband...not sure where we'll work once our son is old enough to sit down and eat dinner with us!

  4. Every single horizontal surface in my home, with the exception of our bed, looks just like that. spooky.

  5. Good luck. That's how my work table looks at the end of a project and I can't begin the next one until I clean it up and get everything back in its place.

  6. Thank you all for making me feel less of a piggy! :-) and btw waterrose... no this isn't just one project this is about 5 or 6 projects worth... there are so many beads under the books :-) I never want to put away beads, for fear that i might want to use them for the next project :-) but now i've run out of workspace :-)

  7. I had to smile when I looked at the photo of your dining room table...I have two six foot tables and a counter that always look like that...I do arrange everything nice and neat once in a while but the tables always end up looking just like your table...you are not alone...:0) I'm happy to know there are thers out there just like me!!!!

PS...can't wait to see your cuff!!!
    Cheers

  9. What an absolute hoot that you and I both posted about our messes on the same day!!!

I do have to say, though, that my mess is substantially larger... and messier... than your mess. It's pathetic, really. And while I know deep in my heart that I should have been up there working on it today, I found myself camped out on the couch beadweaving a new cuff.

In reading through the comments, it looks like we're not alone. At least we can take comfort in the fact that we all seem to have the same problems with staying organized.
